Honda Cb 750 four – “IMPERATRIX” #36
Honda Cb 750 four – “IMPERATRIX” #36
With our first profit, we bought this bike. It was bought without first being seen and evaluated, which turned out to be a bad decision, beginner’s mistakes!
Between legalizing, repairing the engine, improving cycling, time has passed! We were seeing the bike in the workshop from one corner to the other, more quickly we were seeing this Honda donating parts for other Honda’s than approaching a happy ending. We would occasionally show the bike to potential customers, but no one believed enough in this bike.
We always like to believe that projects like these are true stories of believing, of trust, deep down we believed that this bike was meant to have a happy ending, we just didn’t know when.
When Ivan and Bárbara showed up at the workshop, they revealed that they knew about all of our projects, they were fans of all our bikes. When we talked about this possibility, being also Honda fans, they thought that “saving” this Honda, despite being a demanding task, they gave green light to the project. The guidelines were drawn up, but basically, we had room to do it the way we thought it was best, the client was a firm believer in our decisions. Cafe Racer, here we go!
